Introduction
    We developed an interest in breakwaters during our course in Coastal Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during Fall Semester 2010. Our main focus is on the magnitude of wave reduction possible through the use of breakwaters. In order to gauge this parameter, we did research on rubble mound breakwaters, constructed a model, and tested it in the flume at UW-Madison.
